This video answers the question: What types of cases do we mediate? The short answer is we mediate all kinds of disputes. My focus area and experience for many years with the following domestic cases. First, Divorce Mediation: Not only is it mandatory, but it will allow you to away from conflict and start making real progress in settling your case—and your life. Next, Custody Mediation: Did you know that taking a custody case to trial after a full evaluation and extended discovery may take 1 to 2 years? Do your children a favor and try to mediate this important issue. Your children will thank you for it in the years to come. Third, Visitation and Moves: Is your Ex moving out of the area or out of state? Are you having problems with visitation, drop-offs, pick-ups, sharing of information. You are not alone. Courts are poorly equipped to deal with these problems. Fourth, financial support issues: Child support, alimony, day care, medical expenses, and debt. Fifth, property issues: Dividing assets, debts, taxes, homes, vehicles, bank account, retirement accounts, and any other property issues. We mediate modifications of current orders of the court due to changes of circumstances.
