Mediation & Pricing

Mediation is a fantastic opportunity to resolve your disputes and cases. Mediation involves meeting with your mediator, discussing possible options, and drafting up an agreement–on the same day.
Effective January 1, 2020, mediation Sessions are $200 per hour with a $400 minimum. I prefer payment by check, cash, or VENMO, and ApplePay and also accept all major credit and debit cards. Payment is due at the end of the session. Please see my cancellation policy below.
It is helpful that the parties come to mediation with all documentation that may assist in resolving the issues (different for each case) such as contracts, court documents, proof/evidence, financial declarations, pay stubs, W2s, tax returns, bank statements, retirement account statements, debt statements, appraisals on home or vehicles, and lists of all personal property.
If an appointment is cancelled after being scheduled, a $400 cancelation fee is immediately due via credit card or VENMO by the canceling party, or one-half by each party if the cancellation is mutual. The cancellation fee will not apply to cases that are rescheduled to a later date.
Unless there are only limited issues, normally, most mediation sessions run between 4 and 8 hours, so be sure and plan your day without other conflicts.
We will be meeting in separate rooms unless all involved (including me) agree to meet together. Each party may bring one support person if desired (usually your attorney if you are represented. If you don’t have legal counsel, you may bring a support person to be with you).
